Terms of Use and License Agreement

Last Updated: July 2026 · Corensia v6.0 | Bibermod Labs

This document contains additional terms specific to the Corensia application, in addition to Microsoft's standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

§0 | DEFINITIONS

The terms used in this document have the following meanings:

  • "Application": Corensia Scientific Planning and Analysis System (all versions)
  • "User": The licensed person who installs and/or uses the application
  • "AI Assistant": The built-in AI-powered assistant system within the application, encompassing the Free Chat, Case Analysis, Recipe Optimization, Nutritional Strategy, and Academic Analysis modules
  • "AI Output": Any text, recommendation, analysis, plan, or report generated by the AI Assistant
  • "Local Database": The food composition database based on industry standard encryption algorithms distributed with the application and stored on the device
  • "Compiled Work": A database collection protected by copyright under FSEK Art. 6 due to the originality of its selection and arrangement
  • "Mandatory Provisions": Mandatory legal regulations under the applicable laws that cannot be overridden by the agreement of the parties

1 | INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COMPILED WORK RIGHTS

The source codes, user interface designs, brand assets (logo, typography, color system), and the Local Database architecture of the Corensia application belong exclusively to Bibermod Labs. The Local Database comprises the following elements and carries the character of a Compiled Work under FSEK Art. 6:

  • Food composition data compiled from publicly available raw sources (USDA FoodData Central and similar) and structured and related within a schema unique to Corensia;
  • Special indexing and optimization layers including portion matchings, recipes, and category hierarchies;
  • Food name and description translations localized through automatic and/or human-supervised processes offered with multilingual support.

Even if the original raw data is public, the structured, optimized, and localized format of this data within Corensia contains original selection and arrangement and is protected by copyright laws.

2 | DATABASE RESTRICTIONS AND DATA MINING PROHIBITION

The User agrees and undertakes that they will not perform the following actions regarding the Local Database:

  • Extract or copy database files (including SQLite/SQLCipher), data tables, portion matchings, and translation dictionaries out of the application;
  • Extract data in bulk by any method (including data mining/scraping, extraction, screen scraping);
  • Attempt to decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the application or database;
  • Share, sell, license, or use the obtained data in a competitive system with third parties.

This prohibition also covers the bulk extraction of outputs produced by the AI Assistant through systematic and automatic means.

3 | CLINICAL DISCLAIMER AND USER CLASSIFICATION

3.1 Target User Definition: Corensia is designed solely for the professional use of licensed dietitians, nutrition and dietetics specialists, and authorized healthcare professionals. The application is not designed for individual consumers to make self-diagnosis, treatment, or medical planning without the supervision of a healthcare professional, and must not be used for this purpose.

3.2 Decision and Planning Responsibility: Corensia is not a clinical decision maker, diagnosis/treatment provider, medical device, or clinical decision support system, but a scientific planning and analysis system that facilitates nutrition planning and analysis processes. Application outputs — including calculations, reports, plans, and AI Assistant responses — do not replace professional judgment. The responsibility for final evaluation and planning belongs exclusively to the healthcare professional using the application.

3.3 Data Quality and Translation Disclaimer: Translations and food values belonging to foreign-sourced food records are provided "As-Is". The Developer cannot be held responsible for damages that may arise from translation errors, deficiencies or inaccuracies in the content of third-party databases, or changing food composition values over time.

4 | AI ASSISTANT — SPECIAL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS

4.1 AI Assistant Modules: The AI Assistant in Corensia consists of Free Chat, Case Analysis, Recipe Optimization, Nutritional Strategy, and Academic Analysis modules. These modules are based on large language model (LLM) technology, and the outputs they produce are probabilistic in nature and accuracy is not guaranteed.

4.2 Limitations of AI Outputs:

  • Case analyses, nutritional strategies, recipe optimizations, and academic analyses produced by the AI Assistant may not be complete, correct, or up-to-date, although they are created based on current medical and dietetics literature.
  • AI Outputs cannot be interpreted as diagnosis, treatment, or official clinical protocol; they can only be used as supportive information for professional evaluation.
  • Especially contents produced in the Case Analysis and Academic Analysis modules require independent verification and should not be implemented directly.
  • The AI Assistant does not remember or store patient data specific to the user outside the conversation context; each session must be evaluated independently.

4.3 User's Responsibility for AI Assistant: The User agrees to review AI Assistant outputs critically with their professional knowledge and experience, and apply professional evaluation before passing these outputs directly to the patient/client.

4.4 Prohibition of Bulk Extraction of AI Outputs: The User cannot systematically collect outputs produced by the AI Assistant using automated tools, bots, or similar methods to create a database or develop a competing product/service. This prohibition applies to each module individually. All module outputs are supportive of the healthcare professional's professional judgment and do not replace it.

5 | SOFTWARE ERRORS, DATA LOSS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

5.1 As-Is Presentation: Without prejudice to the mandatory provisions of applicable law, Corensia software, along with all calculation modules and the AI Assistant, is legally provided "As-Is" and "As-Available". The Developer does not provide any implied or explicit guarantees regarding the following matters:

  • The software will run uninterrupted or completely error-free;
  • Calculation and analysis results will perfectly fit a specific purpose of use;
  • AI Outputs are correct, complete, or up-to-date.

5.2 Excluded Liabilities: Without prejudice to the mandatory provisions of applicable law, the Developer cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages that may arise from the following situations:

  • Systemic deviations in macro/micro nutrient calculations or calorie percentages;
  • Implementation in clinical practice of incorrect, incomplete, or misleading outputs produced by AI Assistant modules;
  • Crashes and application errors caused by hardware or operating systems;
  • Data loss or database corruption that may occur on the device due to the Local-First architecture of the application.

5.3 User's Backup Obligation: The application stores client data and records only on the local device. The User exclusively assumes the obligation to back up client records, nutrition plans, and all related data outside the device. The Developer is not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, loss, or theft.

6 | GDPR AND DATA PRIVACY

  • Corensia operates with a Local-First architecture. Client personal data and health records are processed and stored only on the user's device; they are not transmitted to the Developer's servers.
  • Clinical data entered by the user in AI Assistant sessions is not collected, stored, or used by the Developer to train or develop the AI model. The AI Assistant uses third-party large language model (LLM) infrastructure. The data processing policies of this infrastructure provider apply independently.
  • When entering client personal data into Corensia, the User is solely responsible for fulfilling their obligations under applicable data protection laws. The Developer acts as a technical infrastructure provider, not a data controller, in this context.

7 | GENERAL PROVISIONS

7.1 Applicable Law: These Additional License Terms are governed by Turkish Law. Istanbul Courts and Execution Offices are authorized for disputes.

7.2 Severability: If any provision of this document is found invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, that provision is separated from the document without affecting the integrity of the valid provisions; the remaining provisions remain fully valid.

7.3 Relationship with Microsoft Store Standard: These Additional Terms are supplementary to Microsoft's standard End User License Agreement and do not change or invalidate it.

7.4 Changes: The Developer may update these Additional Terms without prior notice. Continued use of the application after the update means acceptance of the new terms.
